SSC Exam Schedule 2025: Dates Announced for CGL Tier-II and GD Constable Exams

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam schedule for some of its major recruitment examinations in early 2025. These include the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-II Examination 2024 and the Constable (GD) Examination 2025. Aspirants can now plan their preparation according to the announced dates.

Exam Dates

  1. Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 (Tier-II):
  • Dates: January 18, 19, and 20, 2025
  • Purpose: This is the second stage of the CGL recruitment process, crucial for shortlisting candidates for various Group B and Group C positions in central government ministries and departments.
  1. Constable (GD) Examination 2025:
  • Dates: February 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, and 25, 2025
  • Purpose: Recruitment for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau.

Key Details:

  • Mode of Examination: Both examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Admit Cards: Candidates are advised to regularly check the SSC official website (ssc.gov.in) for updates regarding the release of admit cards.
  • Preparation Tips:
  • For CGL Tier-II: Focus on quantitative ability, statistics, general studies (finance & economics), and English comprehension.
